Eva Nicoletti is the youngest photographer selected in the Open Call ISOLATION | FREEDOM. A young very talented photographer, student of Photography at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana.

She is interested in creating photographic stories where the viewer can relate at a more intimate level. In her series Seeking Sparkles of Life, Eva shows the “crisis of the spirit” and the monotony of everyday’s life.  She states: “With isolation, we have lost the exchange of energy, the interaction, which is a necessity for one to satisfy their needs. We were left alone, trapped in the system, without some of the benefits that the system should offer.”

Her series evokes the feelings of fatigue, boredom, isolation, and tiredness of spinning in a circle – very common feelings during this last year, when our world has been put on hold.
