Giuseppe Oliverio is the Director of PhMuseum, a platform dedicated to contemporary photography he launched in 2012. Over the years, the project has become known for its online education programs and the open calls that have awarded photographers like Max Pinckers, Diana Markosian, Laura El-Tantawy, and Alejandro Cartagena.

Giuseppe frequently works as a juror for awards such as Lucie Photo Book Prize, Magenta Foundation Flash Forward, Lens Culture Critics Choice, and as a portfolio reviewer at events like Unseen, Photo Vogue Festival, and Visa Pour L’Image. He has also written for TIME Magazine and L'Uomo Vogue.

In 2020 he opened the PhMuseum Lab in Bologna, an exhibition and training space. In 2021 he launched the PhMuseum Days, an international photography festival whose 2nd edition will be held in September 2022.
