Tereza Kozinc\u00a0is a visual storyteller and a photographer. Her life can be read within her photographic motives, the work stretches between diary and documentary photography, characterized by a minimalist reality that grows into surreality. The questions often stay open and emotions lead the way. Based on intuition and on her everyday life, her series spread from the north of Japan to the south of her kitchen.<\/p>\r\n

In 2020 she won the Fotofever Prize given by a photo fair held every November at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. In 2021 she became one of the selected artists for the Futures platform based in Amsterdam and one of the selected photographers for the Reflexions Masterclass based in Italy and France. Her work was featured on Phases Magazine, Yogurt Magazine, FotoRoom, C41 Magazine, Analog Magazine etc. She exhibited in various photo festivals and galleries internationally.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

\"Solo<\/p>\r\n

About her project The Swamp, she wrote: \u201cWe found out I was pregnant a month before the corona outburst, so I had spent most of the pregnancy in the lockdown in Ljubljana, Slovenia, going out just for the walks at the nearest swamp area. While carrying a child, these everyday walks were crucial to me. The swamp \u2013 wet, muddy, liquid \u2013 a metaphor for a womb.<\/p>\r\n

This place was very dear to me already from the past and after staying in Paris for some years, I had returned to the swamp once again, back to the roots. In my previous series, this was the core of the work, my search for a home. Travelling all around the globe to find this utopic place. In The Swamp series, the home was found at last, at least for a while.<\/p>\r\n

\"Solo<\/p>\r\n

I gave birth a month and a half earlier – 17.7.2020 at 07:07 am, the number of birth 2777. Due to heavy bleeding, the doctor decided on the caesarean section and saved the life of\u00a0Martin and me.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\r\n
